Deadstock NIP Lot of 9 Pairs 1950s Sum-ner Charm Seamless Mesh Garter Stockings
Nine pairs of 1950s era flat knit, seamless stockings with knitted in heel and toe by Sumner of North Carolina. These are 400 Needle 15 Denier Seamless Mesh. The “400 needle” term indicates a fine gauge of knitting typical of vintage fine hosiery of the period. They also feature reinforced heel and toe areas that are part of the stocking’s original knit, rather than added later, for better durability and long wear. Wear these stockings with your favorite garter belt for a fabulous night out... or in...
Size 10 1/2 (older stockings often labeled by foot length rather than typical small/med/large).
They measure 10.5" toe to heel -- approximately a modern US medium in women's sock size, but please check item measurements against your own.
Length: Between 33” and 34” (top to heel)
Color: Sheer beige / nude
100% nylon
Reinforced heel and toe
The stockings may appear wrinkled in the images, but once on the leg, the wrinkles will disappear. Also, fold marks might be visible, but they will also disappear.
Condition: New! 8 pairs are new old stock in package, 1 pair is new old stock in open package (9 total pairs)
