Vintage Multi Strand Red Beaded Torsade Necklace – Holiday Statement Piece

This beautiful vintage torsade necklace features 8 strands of red and antiqued-gold colored beads. It can be worn twisted or untwisted. Measurements Untwisted – approx. 28” Twisted – approx. 27” Era 1960s Closure Hook Closure Condition Excellent vintage condition. Please note there are metal silvertone endcaps and a goldtone hook. It is unclear if the goldtone hook was a replacement at some point, or if the endcaps were originally goldtone. The thread which hooks on to the closure pieces is not covered, so you can see a little thread on the ring and hook. It would be easy to touch up the end caps with liquid gold leaf, but I do not like to alter vintage pieces. Will arrive in a gift box
