Vintage Mr. John Cuff Links Mother of Pearl Gold Tone

Vintage cuff links, Mother of Pearl in center set above gold tone rectangle base. Raised ridges add dimension. Mr. John, "Emperor of Fashion", famous New York hat maker to the stars, also designed fine, high quality costume jewelry in the 40's and 50's. His jewelry was rarely marked, most being labeled with a paper hang tag only. These cuff links were engraved with his signature and trade mark. One post appears to have been repaired.
