Vintage Mount Vernon 1997 East Front Folk Art Christmas Ornament Box & Booklet. Features Mount Vernon George Washington's historic estate in Northern Virginia, located just outside Washington, D.C. The scene depicted is adapted from a painting by contemporary artist Carol Dyer. Incredibly detailed picture on fine porcelain of a busy scene of winter life at Mount Vernon shown from the East Front, or Potomac River side. Set in 24-karat gold-finished brass which features many of the other buildings on the estate in an incredibly detailed frame. The back is engraved with Christmas 1997 Mount Vernon East Front Folk Art. Preowned with some wear to the box, the packaging foam and tiny surface scratches on the back which were difficult to capture in the pictures. Please see pictures for approximate measurements.
