Vintage Military Winged Parachute Pin Medal

U.S. Army Parachutist Badge, also known as "Jump Wings" or "Silver Wings”. Awarded to: Members of the U.S. Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy who complete parachutist training and meet specific jump qualifications. Design: The original badge was designed in 1941 by Captain William P. Yarborough of the 501st Parachute Battalion. *This pin is brass and enamel. Approximately 2” across and 1 7/8” long.
