Incredible midcentury modern vintage lidded casserole dish made by Bennington Pottery for Restaurant Associates for the Hawaiian Room at the Lexington Hotel in New York City circa 1960. Heavy rectangular ceramic dish with lid with unique abstract pattern like eyes with blue-green/aquamarine/Etruscan blue glaze on top; body is cream/natural. Fits in your mcm, tiki, atomic, retro, boho, mod home. Incredibly rare piece made in only a few colorways. Model RA5024 and RA5024T Crack in base (not likely food safe, better for display or home decor), darkening from use at corners/edges, especially on base. Crazing.
