Vintage Micromosaic Floral Oval Pendant with Gold Tone Chain

This is an exquisite vintage micromosaic floral oval pendant measuring 1.1" with a gold tone chain (24"). The pendant is in strong preloved condition, however, there is a very small scratch on the top of it (not visible -doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece). I suspect it is quite old but (possibly Italian) but I don't know the history of the piece.
