Vintage Mexican Mixed Metals Malachite Lapis Inlay Box

Beautiful vintage trinket box/cigar box, Los Castillo attributed, Mexico 1950's. Fantastic box, beautifully crafted with brass and copper inlay on a stone mosaic (malachite and lapis). The box is made of brass and lined with rosewood. The copper horse's head is the main focal point of the box. Such a wonderful gift for the horse enthusiast. Signed on the underside "Heche en Mexico" w 7.75" | d 4.5" | h 1.125" In very good original condition with age-appropriate wear. Please see the photos.
