Vintage Mexican Huichol Yarn Art Mid Century Wall Hanging Boho Handwoven Embroid

True Vintage Wall Hanging. Handmade in Taxco, Mexico by the Huichol, circa 1960s - 1970s. Brightly colored Yarn Art on burlap canvas backing featuring cheerful, abstract floral Flower Power, scroll and stripe designs as well as an adorable chick / duck. SIZE: Measures 11 3/4 (~13.5” with pole) by just under 34” long CONDITION: Overall excellent. Colors are vibrant and all yarn decoration appears to be present. There is some wear on the edges of the backing and the one end of wood pole on top broke off at one time (though still long enough to do its job). There is no rod on the bottom (if there ever was), but it hangs nicely without one. — 041825
