Vintage Mexican Folk Art Storytelling Plates-Set of 2

Add these gorgeous red clay hand painted plates to your home's decor! They each have a story to tell. Top plate is obviously a celebration...wedding or perhaps a young girl's quinceanera. Bottom plate is a scene of a village with mountains in the background, men and women, as well as a girl and a donkey/horse. It looks like a wing at the back of the donkey. There is a cross in the middle of the scene, and what might be a headstone in front of it. Both plates have holes with twine for hanging. Flaw: The top plate does have a chip on the bottom edge, shown in pic 6. Please refer to photos to judge the condition for yourself.
