Vintage 60s Lesney Matchbox 1929 Bentley YU 3250 Fred Bronner Promotion Ceramic Box This is a 1929 Bentley Matchbox YU 3250 brass- tone/gold-tone car attached to the lid of a black ceramic box. During the 1950s and early 1960s Fred Bronner was the sole US importer / distributor of Matchbox cars from the Lesney Corporation in England. In 1964 he became president of Lesney USA and theses boxes were given as promotional item or advertising gift. The black ceramic box has no chips, no cracks, no blemishes and is excellent condition. This "Match Box Car" is over 60 years old and the tiny red plastic on the trunk of the car has a tiny hairline crack (see the last photo) but does not take away from the beauty of the piece and is in very good condition. A wonderful vintage collectible! Approximate Measurements: 5 inches X 4 inches rectangular box and is a little over 2 inches tall from the bottom of the box to the top of the car.
