Vintage Mayer China Keeler's State Street Albany New York Oval Platter

Keeler's State Street was opened in Albany New York in 1884 on the corners of State and Green streets. It stayed in the Keeler Family until 1955 and was sold and closed down in 1969. It is pretty safe to say this platter is from the 1960's or so. The platter does have the expected surface scratches and blemishes of a plate what was used in the business. No chips or cracks were noted in the platter. The plater measures about 12 inches by 8.75 inches. It was made by the Mayer China Company of Beaver Falls, PA. 201
