Vintage Mayan Modern Hand Woven Guatemalan Emerald Green Woven Wrap Maxi Skirt

This is a genuine vintage skirt. Based on my research, I believe it’s from the 1950’s to 1960’s. Wrap design with snaps and hook and eye clasps. All hardware in tact. No flaws at all apart from a few very small pulls, mostly on the backside. Not noticeable whatsoever. Beautiful turquoise and metallic copper colored woven trim with a tribal Mayan style print. Full Peasant skirt. Beautiful satin copper-colored lining. -Approximately 42 inches long. -Waist is approximately 32.5 inches around. Equivalent to a US size large. 100% cotton Tag reads: Hand-Woven in Guatemala By Mayan Modern Skirt is a part of traditional Mayan dress in Guatemala and would be referred to as a “Corte”. ***Similar era and style as the one pictured in the vintage photos, but longer with different detailing***
