Vintage Maruhon Ware Tomato teapot hand painted tea pot and lid from Occupied Japan This is a 2-piece hand-painted Maruhon Ware lidded Tea Pot from Occupied Japan. There is a small nick/chip in the glaze at the end of the spout on the tea pot - see photo, there is a part of the handle where the glaze doesn't cover it, and about half the edge where the lid sits is broken off. The lid still sits on the pot well and it doesn't affect the presentation of the teapot/lid. Such a unique piece.
