sophie92249 Pit to pit measurements from under one armpit to the under the other armpit or the width of sweater on one side. (Multiply the p2p measurement gives the circumference of the sweater for determining fit. Example: I'm 95 lbs,4'11" tall with a 32b bra size. Thus, a p2p measurement of 17 - or 34 inches around the bust - will fit me nicely.) And shoulder to hem is the length of the sweater from the shoulder to the hem. Hope that helps.
