Vintage Made in Japan MIJ Ceramic Coffee Barrel Mug Longhorn Steer Ranch Hand

Vintage ceramic mug, body resembles a barrel, with a steer's head, figural man handle, perhaps meant to represent a ranch hand, approximately 4 1/2 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches in diameter at rim, marked on base with a Hand Painted Japan ink stamped mark, light cold paint loss, no chips, no cracks.
