Vintage Madame Alexander 1948 Baba Ice Skating Doll. Sears & Roebuck.

This is a very rare item. Manufactured in 1948 and sold by Sears & Roebuck, this is Babs by Madame Alexander. Her eyes open and close and she is articulated at the shoulder and hip. She is wearing her original clothes, including bloomers. Approximately 16" tall. Defects: At almost 100 years old, she has some. Her left arm does not stay down completely. Her clothing has staining and flaking (skates) as pictured. She needs a good cleaning and has what looks to be paint on her hand, a spot on her face, etc. She also has marks on her legs as shown. Her hair is matted as shown.
