Vintage MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check Large Canister - It's impressive. Tartan knob at the top. Rubber ring on lid to keep contents fresh. This canister is pre-owned, in very fine shape--no chips or cracks--however the label is scratched from normal wear/cleanup on a countertop. I'm not sure if they make replacements for these plaques, or if there are ways to refurbish them but the canister works its Mackenzie-Childs magic-- as a vase, as a large utensil holder, in a hall, on a mantle, and certainly to store dry goods of every kind. It's large, almost 10" tall with lid on, and 5" circumference. It has a ton of life it it--with or without that label facing front. The M-C canisters are very expensive, especially in the signature Courtly Check pattern so this is a way to get a great buy on something something very useful in any kitchen, modern, contemporary, retro, country, etc. . *I currently have 2 more canisters--same size and the same gently used condition--pristine but for those plaques.
