The aluminum cake carrier is in very good vintage condition, with only minor scuffs or scratches. The vintage Mirro aluminum cake container/ carrier is an intelligently designed retro cake carrier that you want to show up to the party or the picnic carrying! The cake carrier has two pieces, and the top cover fits onto the base and is held in place with 3 snap prongs around the base. The top clips onto the base & it has a locking lever to lock the lid on (ideal for traveling with a cake). Perfect for securing a 9-10 icake plate. All the mechanicals on this cake carrier work properly as intended. Very cool & USEFUL vintage item! MADE IN THE USA from the mid-century 1950's-1960.
