Vintage MICHOU Sterling Petroglyph Button Post Earrings

Darling button posts with what looks to me like a petroglyph wild dancing man/woman. How joyous! Or perhaps this is a constellation. They have a smooth outer edge and stippled texturing (resembling rock) around the figure which is cut out of the sterling. About 16 mm in diameter. "Michou" (a French derivation of mon petit chou) was the childhood nickname of its creator Michelle Sonner. Originally from NYC, Michelle studied with artisans in Bali to refine her skills. She has been creating works of "art to wear" for over 35 years. She specializes in gemstones, sterling and 22K gold vermeil. These are vintage and discontinued - no longer present on her website for purchase. Perhaps 90's. Her work is incredible and fetches a nice price. Marked “925” on each back and on each post, as well as Michou's hallmark. One of the backs has been replaced and may not be sterling. Easy to fix. Patina present - I've given these a quick swipe with a sunshine cloth, but I'll leave any further cleaning to the buyer.
