Vintage MIA Y2K Sz 8.5US/39EU Super Tall Wooden Platform Strappy Leather Sandals

If you were "there" at the time, one of the favorite '90s and Y2K pastimes was spending time at the mall--and you'd know that MIA was one of every girlie's favorite mall brands. These are characteristic of some MIA trademark shoes with chunky wooden soles--but these are WAY out there with 2" platforms and a total 4.5" heel height. Heavy saddle tan leather straps attached to the wood with studs with a mary-jane strap top off the chunky platforms. Made in Brazil, but the size tag is worn off. The insole is 9-3/4" heel to toe which converts to US size 8.5 or EU 39. The foot manequin you see them on is size 7-7.5, so this is appropriate sizing. Suggest you measure a shoe that fits you and compare. In really nice condition, would be almost like new but for some chipping on the toe of one shoe and a scrape on the wood by the heel (see photos). Those flaws don't really detract from the shoes, which are really funky fine!!! Thick rubber tread on the soles will be much appreciated to keep you from sliding around on the dance floor! You know you gotta have these!
