"That Brite Star tinsel garland box design is from the 1960s, specifically mid- to late-1960s.
Here's why:
• The bold red-and-green graphics, block lettering, and stylized family silhouettes are typical of mid-century modern holiday packaging (roughly 1958–1968).
• Brite Star was a popular U.S. Christmas décor brand in that era, using nearly identical packaging on their 1964–1968 product lines.
• The "tarnishproof" and "flameproof" marketing language appeared on Brite Star boxes during the transition from metal tinsel to safer synthetics in the mid-60s.
So your box dates to around 1964–1968, right in the mid-century modern (MCM) period."
