My mother was the secretary to the General of the Occupation of Japan from 1945 to 1949. This was purchased at a department store in Tokyo and I have included the insert (in Japanese) that came with the vase.
Crafted with precision and care, this Vintage MCM Noritake Bone China vase is a testament to the artistry of the Mid 20th Century. Its Maple Leaf pattern, handpainted with meticulous detail, brings an touch of timeless elegance to any space. The round shape and glossy finish underscore its Asian style, making it a standout piece. Originating from Japan in the 1940s, this vase is a true vintage original, complete with the distinctive Nippon Toki Kaisha backstamp. The multi-color design on bone china material reflects the era's craftsmanship and charm. This piece is not merely a vase but a slice of history, ready to grace your home with its intrinsic beauty.
