Vintage MCM Knabstrup Danish Pottery Plaque STORM P Robert Storm Petersen Plate HUMOROUS DANISH MID-CENTURY STORM P. CARTOON WALL PLAQUE This triangular-shaped wall plaque is made of glazed Danish ceramic pottery. It was made around the mid-century by the well-know, recognized Danish Knabstrup ceramic factory. It features the wacky and often absurd humor of the famous Danish humorist, Storm P. Robert Storm Petersen (1882-1949) was a Danish cartoonist, writer, actor, animator, painter and humorist. He is known by his pen name, Storm P. This wall plaque is written in Danish text. It says: -- Os Er Der ingen, der regner med -- Og saa er det ligegodt os, som har opfundet Vandrebevægelsen -- This roughly translates into English to mean: -- No one is counting on us -- And then it is just as well we who invented the Hiking Movement We are trying to clear the clutter. My husband is finally going through boxes and getting rid of stuff. Please see pictures for details and judge for yourself on the condition.
