The image shows a vintage Italian ceramic vase made by Fratelli Fanciullacci.
The vase is characterized by its double handles, textured exterior glaze, and hand-painted floral designs similar to those of Roman mosaic in a unique crackle glaze process.
It was produced in Montelupo, near Florence, Italy, likely in the 1950s - although it might be much earlier. The company founded by Raffaello Fanciullacci in the mid 1800s . The name was changed to The Brothers (Fratelli) Fanciullacci by 1880 and all operations ended in the mid 1960s making this a rare and very collectible piece.
It is approximately 6” high and in great vintage condition with just minor wear and crazing, particularly along the edges.
