Vintage MCM Homer Laughlin “Rhythm” Aqua, Gray, and Red Serving Platter. This is a beautiful serving platter made by The Homer Laughlin Pottery Company. I can find very little information on this pattern. It is listed on replacements. com as “Rhythm.” Information including years of manufacturing are not listed. Based on the colors used, I believe it to date to the 1950s. It is a white platter with a thick aqua band on the outer edge with gray leaves with red berries in the center and platinum trim. It is very good quality and has a nice weight. It is unmarked, but that is not unheard of with Homer Laughlin pieces. This would be beautiful on your dining table or as a display piece. Homer Laughlin Pottery Company was based in Newell, West Virginia. Length 11.5 in Width 8.75 in Height 1.25 in Weight 3 lbs In very good vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are light utensil marks and light wear on some of the platinum trim. From a NON-SMOKING home. Item# 2024-2
