Vintage MCM Federal Housewares Food Chopper & Wire Wisk Blender Set

This vintage MCM Federal Housewares Food Chopper & Wire Wisk Blender Set is a must-have for any kitchen gadget collector. Each piece includes a 1-1/2 cup capacity glass container/jar with measuring marks embossed on the sides and a screw top lid with an attached plunger style handle made of stainless steel and plastic. The straight edge three blade chopper has a white lid with a spring-loaded handle that allows for easy manual chopping of nuts and vegetables. This piece has a round plastic disc insert to protect the jar bottom during chopping. The disk shows some minor scratches from use on one side. The orange-topped wire whisk easily wisks fluids, from eggs to cream. Both pieces come apart for easy cleaning, making it a practical addition to any kitchen. The white and orange color combination gives this set a retro feel, perfect for a mid-century modern-themed kitchen. The set is in excellent condition with no chips, pitting of the stainless steel, or hazing. Each piece measures approximately 10-1/2" high with a 3-1/2" diameter jar.
