Vintage MCM Dorothy Thorpe Translucent Frosted Lucite Flower Bowl This is an amazingly beautiful Vintage MCM Dorothy Thorpe Translucent Frosted Lucite Flower Bowl. The bowl is made of a heavy duty resin that has a warm thick translucent presentation and is sculpted to resemble a huge flower. The resin has a semi gloss glow to it. This handmade bowl was created by MCM designer Dorothy Thorpe in Mexico. She also designed these bowls in various colors and sizes and also designed a popular line of silver rimmed glasses. The bowl measures approximately 11" wide by 5" high and is in great vintage condition with no visible anomalies and only very minor wear from age and usage. This is such an unusual and unique work of art...I affectionately call the "GUMMY BEAR" bowl. It definitely would add such an exciting accent to any décor.
