Vintage MA Hadley Pear and Grape Green 2 Quart Covered Casserole Good vintage condition - no chips, cracks, or crazing. there is a small spot on the interior where the glaze has worn - see photos for details. Measures approximately 10-1/4" accross (handle to handle), 9-1/2" wide and 5" tall to top of handle on lid. Mary Alice Hadley began making pottery for her family's houseboat on the Ohio River in 1939. The dishes were so popular with friends and acquaintances that she opened her own pottery business with her husband in 1940, She was the primary designer, and her folk art motifs remain popular decades later. Pear and Grape (Green) was produced circa 1950 - 2009.
