Vintage Louis Vuitton for Saks Monogram Canvas “Suitcase”

This vintage Louis Vuitton bag is a vintage suitcase retailed through Saks Fifth Avenue, in the mid-20th century, when Saks was one of the main U.S. departments stores carrying LV and before they had their own boutiques. This is a piece from the rigid travel luggage line and NOT a soft duffle. Measurements are 21" long, 8" wide, and 13" high with a handle that is 2.5". This is the perfect piece for collectors. The zipper does open and close but the stitching on the upper right hand side needs mending. There are visible scratch or scuff marks but they are not severe and all are shown in the photos. Overall, this suitcase is in fantastic shape considering the age. It was a real treat to own. Please note there is a monogram on the bottom of the handle with initials CDC (also photographed). Inside is in good shape with an interior label encased by leather and covered by a clear vinyl. Comes from a non-smoking home. Shipping to US only.
