Vintage Louis Rousselet French Couture Red Glass Melon Bead Drop Chain Necklace

Gorgeous vintage French couture necklace by Louis Rousselet with rich, deep, red gadrooned glass beads (often called melon beads), multi-strand loops of gathered foxtail chains, as well as a circular link chain, and a barrel clasp closure - the circular link style chain is vintage, and was present on the necklace when I acquired it, but is not original. The necklace is about 19.5 inches in length, and the central glass bead and filigree drop hangs about another 1.5 inches.
