Vintage Lion Tapestry Wall Hanging

An extremely beautiful throw rug/wall hanging of a lion in the parched grass. This believe this is over 35 years old (I think quite a bit older, but was before my time) and has been stored in a suitcase for about 30 years, so still has vivid colour. I believe it came from India, but can't be certain. It has age related wear and tear and some fraying on edges. The quality can be seen from these interim photos. I will update these photos when I get a chance (at the weekend probably) and provide dimensions (it is approximately 54 cm x 94 cm). Please don't hesitate to ask any questions about this item.
