Behold this breathtaking vintage Lillie Rubin Oleg Cassini gown! Showcased in stunning golden bronze toned sequins that shimmer with every move. The gown features a sleek, fitted silhouette with shoulder pads, a round neckline, slightly draped dolman sleeves and a plunge v and center slit in the back. It is a pull over style with stretch of thick jersey material to sculpt and flatter your curves. The sequin embellishments reflect light beautifully, giving it a timeless, glamorous old Hollywood appeal. Though not designed to be reversible, you could flip the plunge to the front if you so dare, and it totally gives Studio 54 vibes. She needs some minor restoration…don’t we all. 😂 There are some missing sequins here and there, shown in photos. However there are tons of extras under the hemline that you could use to replace them if you wish. There are some tarnished sequins primarily along the shoulder pads, but because they are bronze toned they blend in just fine. The size tag is missing, but is estimated to be a modern size 4. I wear a 4 and it fits me perfectly, as shown in photos. Because there is stretch it would definitely fit a 6 as well. Founded in 1946 Lillie Rubin’s designs are the epitome high end designer fashion from a bygone era. Her dresses remain coveted pieces of iconic fashion history to this day.
