Vintage Lightweight Wool Tweed Skirt Suit Brown White Check XS Gorgeous

Beautiful vintage skirt suit in lightweight wool. Appears hand tailored. Label says The Landsets House of Fashions Utica, NY. I purchased this in a high end vintage store in the mid-1980s; it’s probably early 1960s vintage. No size tag but fits like a modern extra small to small. Skirt waist 13” across, hip about 18.5”, jacket about 19” pit to pit. Skirt is 26” long, jacket 18.25” (somewhat cropped). Jacket is fully lined. Pencil skirt has lining at the top portion of the back. Only visible flaw to note is a small hole on the back of the collar (see photo). This could be mended and won’t show if your hair covers the collar. There are a couple of tiny pinpricks in the area of one underarm in the lining. Truly a rare vintage find.
