UPDATE 11/2/2022: I have 2 pair of these jeans. The Mystery Levi's Jeans saga continues, these jeans are still very rare, but doing more research into it. These jeans could be worth $50,000 plus or minus. Currently looking for a Levi's jeans expert. Will update with more info when it comes available. Vintage Levi's Strauss & Co. 502 Buckle Back, Cinch Back, button fly, Orange tab Deadstock. Appears to be barely worn Vintage 1970's 502 button fly orange tab. Cinch buckle on back! Top button reads 16. Dark blue wash. Label reads 26502-0214. I have only ever found a couple of pair of these sold in Japan, many years ago, for different amounts one was $7000 US money. Top button 16. Measures 25 x 32, see photos. 100% cotton no stretch denim. Distressed with some staining, fading, loose threads etc all as expected due to age. USA made. HTF. hempest A real shame they weren’t in wider circulation~they’re awesome!!!! I’ve read about more than one of the us factories during that time period making short runs of new styles in consideration….San Fran, in particular, obviously, as well as the different factories phasing out old details & implementing new ones, creating overlap as to when things theoretically changed, & some factories using details others didn’t!?

hempest Have you checked out denimbro.com? I know the folks on the 501 thread know their stuff!!!! Including a bit about those from other countries. There’s other threads for the other styles, but that’s the only one I’ve read extensively. That would be where I’d head to post pics & get feedback if you haven’t yet! Good luck! I won’t be buying them but I’m happy to model them whenever needed 🙃
