Vintage Lefton's "Fruits of Italy" Biscuit/Cookie Jar with Lid Pears Grapes

This is a beautiful piece and a lovely way to hold and display cookies or biscuits as they are called in Great Britian. Covered in painted grapes, pears and peaches it a beautiful show piece in any kitchen country to modern. The history of the cookie jar dates back to the late 1700's where "biscuit" jars were used in Great Britian. 9" tall with lid jar measures 6.25" wide and the canister by itself is 5.75" deep.
