donnawynn671 hi is this authentic? because the handles are peeling because real leather won't peel . and there should be a date code inside somewhere... just need to no before I consider to purchase thanks.

jenb808 @donnawynn671 thank you for inquiring ☺️ the tag number is the date and it is unfortunate that some parts of the material has deteriorated due to being in somewhat harsh environmental conditions for about 18 years, living by the ocean and having no central air can do that. The salt air can destroy almost anything. It is authentic with all hardware having LV and being intact despite mild corrosion. I hope this response helps for your decision.
