Vintage LEFTON Tea Bag Holder

Gorgeous vintage tea bag holder by Lefton. Creamy white china with gold accent trim and highly detailed, hand painted, purple flowers—are they violets? Pansies? Shaped like a teapot, this little dish was made for holding wet tea bags. This was my grandmother’s, who was a hot tea drinker, however, it does not appear that she ever used this. (I’m not surprised though because she always put away and saved special things.) Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Back side still retains the original Lefton Japan sticker. I’ve had this in a box of her things in my closet for years. I’ve decided it should be owned by someone who will appreciate it like my grandmother did.
