Here is what we believe to be a vintage Le Creuset Tostador Grill, which we found noted as being designed by Raymond Loewy in the 1950s.
This specific piece is a rather rare find & is made of enameled cast iron. No longer produced by Le Creuset.
Such a fun & funky MCM orange! Add a pop of color to your kitchen.
Condition, in our opinion, is that this pre-owned vintage piece shows average signs of wear consistent with age, such as crazing, minor flaws in the enamel, and wear to handles - especially one with roughness, bubbling, etc - losses - (mostly can’t be seen clearly as underneath the handle) - likely due to use & heat damage.
We see this listed elsewhere as being able to be used on multiple heat sources/stovetops, but pls research before using because we’re not sure which is safe on vintage enameled cast-iron. Not responsible for use/misuse of this item.
PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS TO ENSURE YOU AGREE. We highly suggest you enlarge the photos. We are not users of cast-iron, or vintage kitchen/cookware.
We’ve owned this for 20+ years, purchased with the intent of using at an estate sale, & never did. It has been sitting in storage. Comes to you as found, as is. Can use cleaning. We gently wiped off the dust, but will leave a better clean up to you.
As with all of our items, cannot guarantee age, origin, condition, materials, etc.
