Brand: Laila Rowe My guess this dates to sometime in the 90’s. Coppered colored metal. Acrylic red and fuchsia pink faceted rhinestones. Tan and wine resin accents on wings with a dusting of glitter locked in the resin. Not sure which insect this represents - bee or a fly? Makers mark on the back - circle with a star in the middle. Good used condition. Approx size 1 1/4” x 1 3/8” Vintage jewelry has been loved and used, because items are older they may have wear due to age, use and storage. Any obvious flaws will be mentioned or will be visible in pictures. Please inspect and enlarge pictures to assess condition for yourself. These older items are sold as is. Its founders, Judith Schwartz, a native of the Bronx, and her partner Alexia Crawford, who came to New York from Sydney, Australia, began creating costume jewelry for the company in the early 1990s. In fact, Judith Schwartz had been involved in jewelry design long before founding Laila Rowe. She even had three of her own stores in Manhattan called Nemesis Jewelry.
