Vintage Komar House Dress with Lace Collar

Komar made nightgowns, robes, lingerie and house dresses from mid to late 20th century. Victorian-esque designs and beautiful lace trim were a couple of the maker’s hallmarks. This house dress is a beautiful deep green velvet-like fabric with a cream lace collar made of mesh and cotton embroidery. Features include puff sleeves, a drop waist, pockets, delicate crocheted cuff trim and a full button-down front (white domed buttons). There are no tags other than the Komar tag which also says Made in USA, but fabric is likely the Polyester/Nylon blend that was widely used with mid-century house dresses & robes. Measures like a Small/Medium: 17” underarm to underarm (up to 19” with a gentle pull). Not a fitted waist — made to be a relaxed and comfy fit. Length is 51”. Perfect Condition. No holes or fabric “scuffs”. Absolutely perfect for Christmas morning!
