Vintage Kilt Pins Pair Brass over Steel Large Safety Pins Scottish

Vintage kilt pins, brass plated steel safety pin pair. Very hefty and strong. 1940’s militaria pieces. Traditionally used as a fastener for kilts. 2&1/2” x 1/2”. I have seen these used as scarf pins, blanket pins, cape and cloak pins too. I have seen charms hanging from these and worn as brooches. Makes for a great key fob too. Quite likely these pins are from a Scottish soldier’s WWII uniform kilt as we originally purchased them from a Scottish veteran estate. I will be listing a few more. Sleek, simple and genius design.
