Vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet by Finnish designer Kaunis Koru. Dating from 1972, its stamped w hallmarks for Finland, 925, Helsinki, year 1972 & butterfly mark of Kaunis Koru can be worn latched in the front or open. Characteristic of the modernist style, it has 3 semiprecious stones, weighs 19 gr & is 6 1/2". The latch is slightly bent, scratches consistent w use. I haven't cleaned it as I like the patina but am happy to clean -my uncle bought it in Europe for my mom in the 1970's

vintagebaubles @brookes925 yes it is the Finnish marking system system is very precise and identifies everything from country, metal and year manufactured to the artist, all of which correlated with my moms notes. Her brother bought it for her as a gift when he was working in Sweden in the early 70’s. It could be cleaned but I think the patina is gorgeous!

sielulintu I hate to be that person, but it's actually spelled "Kaunis Koru". That might help you in searches if someone is looking for that particular brand. "Kaunis Koru" means "beautiful (piece of) jewelry" in Finnish, and it's the name of the company, not the person who designed it. It is a gorgeous piece!
