Vintage Kanawha’s Hobstar Amberina Ombre Cadmium Selenium Glass Ruffled Bowl This is a vintage Kanawha’s Hobstar Amberina glass bowl. The bowl is made of Amberina glass, which is a type of two-toned glassware that fades from red to orange. It features a hobstar pattern featuring a large center start surrounded by smaller stars and a ruffled edge. Kanawah manufactured this type of glassware, with some pieces dating back to the 1950's. This is UV reactive due to the cadmium and Selenium used to color the glass making this piece highly collectible. This is in beautiful vintage condition without any cracks or chips. It was used as a display piece for many years. I don't believe this was actually used as a serving bowl.
