Vintage Johnson Brothers California Fruit Beige Pitcher England c.1930 Ironstone Scalloped Rope Border Grapes Apples Leaves 40 Ounces "California" was one of Johnson Brother's most popular early pattern with it's motif of lush fruits surrounded by a rope border. Back stamp dates this from 1921 to 1940. It came in several colorways including this which is typically called "beige". While the plates are more easily found, the serving pieces are rare. We are pleased to offer this 5 cup/40 ounces beautiful pitcher which measures 7" from spout to edge of handle X 6" from base to highest.
