Vintage Japanese Satsuma Porcelain Earrings, Screw Backs, Bamboo Pattern

*Description: This is a vintage pair of Japanese satsuma bamboo ceramic circles attached to screw back earrings from the early 1900s. The ceramic earrings are hand painted and a special glaze forms a crackle appearance. Much of the painting is outlined in gold strokes. The earrings are signed JAPAN on the back of each earring. They held securely, but with age, the glue turned yellow. The glue does not show when worn. They would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection, or make a great vintage gift! *Approximate Measurements: Length & Width - 7/8 Inch, Weight for both - .3 Ounce *Condition: Good vintage condition.
