@browsen Yes it would fit a size 8 . Kimonos are not a snug fit . This one is a longer length and reaches the floor on a girl of 5’2”. You can belt it to cinch in the waist or wear it loosely belted . It fits more like a bathrobe.

I believe the fabric is a type of vintage rayon but it doesn’t specify the exact fabric but it looks like it is of very good quality. I am unsure of the lining material
