Vintage Jade Chi Lin Earth Elemental Pendant on Blue Green Kyanite Necklace

The vintage pendant is hand-carved Jade and depicts Chi Lin, the Serene Dragon. Chi Lin is a mythical Chinese creature which is similar to a unicorn. It is often known to be a dragon horse mixture since it seems to have the body of a horse and the head of a dragon. According to the traditions, it is Earth Elemental; Symbol of benevolence and fertility; Heralded the birth of a great person; Embodied the Ying-Yang principal, and looking at this creature is very auspicious and brings happiness. The Jade pendant is 1.625" wide by 2" long. The necklace is gorgeous 10 - 12 mm blue/green barrel shape Kyanite and AAA 8 mm cornflower blue round Kyanite separated by Thai Hill Tribe Silver for a gorgeous effect. The Shepherds hook clasp has a 1" extender should you desire a bit more length.
