The buttons and pocket trim are a navy blue, so, the jacket may just be a super dark navy but, I've looked at it outside, inside, and under different lighting, and I believe it to be black. The threads around the button closures are slightly unraveling but still functional. Some hanging threads. A few light spots and scuffs like the one shown in last pic. Zipper and snaps work.
