The large chocolate colored leather or leather like covered buttons are intentionally not tightly sewn down to allow for the thickness of the button holes There is an extra button in the pocket in case you might need it someday They definitely gave this one all the bells and whistles! Thick belt with brass buckle and beltloops Dart pleats Bottom back slit It even has a fully detachable hood I thought I would probably not wear it with the hood, but then I saw how the hood is a little oversized Kind of that floppy hood with fitted jacket look ❤️ Tweed wool blend in olive and tan Large front pockets Large and somewhat pointed collar Fully lined in cream and grass green satin I cannot find another one like this online but I am sure it is vintage I’d imagine this coat goes back to the beginning of J Crew They definitely do not make them like this anymore!
